Earth is the second magazine to which I contributed for Magazine Antidote. This issue takes a stand for a fairer treatment of animals in the fashion industry, and the stunning photographs of Patrick Welde pay tribute to our planet. Earth opened with the following manifesto :
“This new Antidote Spring-Summer 2018 issue dedicated to the Earth advocates for animal rights. The visual contents we produced are entirely vegan, and hence take part in the deconstruction process of the dominance exercised by humans over animals. No leather, fur, feathers, silk, wool or cashmere were used in the making of this issue.”
For this edition, in partnership with the Antidote creative team, we came up with a new layout, a new logo, and we changed the fonts to give it a sportier look.

Excess is the 16th issue of Magazine Antidote and the latest edition I worked on. After having traveled the world and investigated the eco-conscious strategies implemented by the fashion industry, Excess examines its destructive aspect: overproduction in fast fashion and unbridled search for outrage.

“Abkhazia is something of a paradox: a country that exists, in the physical sense of the word (a territory with borders, a government, a flag, a language), yet it has no legal existence because for almost twenty years it was not recognized by any other nation state. And so Abkhazia exists without existing, caught in a liminal space, a space in between realities. Which is why my first letter to Max was something of a message in a bottle thrown at sea.”
camillebessonandvianneyfivel.com is a compendium of their sculptures, paintings, videos and work process displayed in a unplanned order. The layout of the artworks, playing with transparency, is also randomized, creating beautiful unexpected compositions.
This logo experiment is the first concept designed for Portmanteau Rotary Plate (). Forged as one piece, it morphs into the 3 letters of the logo (prp).
In 2016, I was commissioned by Jeudi, a Geneva-based artist group, to design their new project: Portmanteau Rotary Plate. The web platform displays multidisciplinary artists’ videos from around the world. The minimalistic design aims at highlighting the creations, and the « Hermes » font, with its rounded shapes, echoes and underlines the videos rotation.
Mecanical is a monospace font. It comes in three different weights (light, normal and bold). Inspired by the mechanical production of heavy machinery, its structure is cold and repetitive. Its geometrical skeleton is modeled on a grid. Mecanical is the reflection of a fantasized factory work, where every piece, choreographed and ordered, falls right into place.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi is a documentary about the signature of the pact between Maoris and the British crown in New-Zealand. This interethnic encounter is graphically highlighted by the interweaving of bitmaps and 3D imagery.
